Meg Jensen!  Where are you?  This entire website is here to tell you I finally fell for Bruce, fuckin’ finally… why did it take so long, what happened to me?  It happened after holing up with a secret flame, air mattress sunken flat to the corrogated metal floor in the back of a cargo truck, Friday night at Bonnaroo 2009, waiting for short lapses of sleep.  Son-of-a-bitch, consciousness shift at 8 am an astonishing revival raking across the land and sky, swaying the earth, the upending glory of a sunrise gospel and the booming heart of an old man’s singing, for fuck’s sake Bruce Springsteen at sound check…a savaging call, so startling that it sawed me in half, almost as deep as our last few enlightening years when you tried to tell me and I refused: how could that be?  Meg! As with other dusty saviors, this is a mighty call breaking over a terrible heartbreak once again.  But here is my voice calling yours, to admit what I couldn’t accept back then and to YOU.  Lot’s of love and I pray to continue to listen closely….
